Purple Flag Accredited Care Providers
The following senior care providers are recognized for their excellence and for driving continuous improvement in the quality of services delivered to those living with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias (ADRD). These organizations underwent a rigorous audit, and they collaborated with the Connecticut Assisted Living Association (CALA) and the Institute for Senior Living Education (ISLE) to implement procedures and best practices. The Purple Flag Excellence in Dementia Care™ accreditation standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers to further enhance staff education and demonstrate a commitment to best practices.
EPOCH Senior Living
EPOCH Senior Living, a Northeastern senior living organization was second to launch system-wide initiative to implement the senior care quality enhancement program across all 12 of its Bridges by EPOCH locations with memory care.
Senior Living Residences
Senior Living Residences (SLR), a New England-based seniors housing operator, was the first assisted living organization in the U.S. to seek Purple Flag accreditation for all managed communities providing direct care to those living with memory loss.

The facility provides outcome oriented, comprehensive management of complex medical conditions. Deer’s Head’s focus is on providing excellence in every patient experience including its specialty hospital, inpatient and outpatient dialysis and skilled/long-term-care and memory care.
